Cabbage Casserole


This is a recipe that a friend from Pikeville, Tennesse gave to me when we were both members in the Sequatchie FCE club.

Ingredients:
  • 2 cups crushed Cornflakes
  • 1 stick margarine, melted
  • 4 cups shredded cabbage
  • 1 can cream of celery soup
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 1 cup grated cheddar cheese
  • 1/4 cup dried onion flakes
Directions:
  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
  2. Mix crushed Cornflakes and melted margarine and divide in half.BR>
  3. Mix cabbage, celery soup, milk, mayo, cheese and onion flakes together.
  4. Place 1/2 of the Cornflakes in the bottom of a baking dish.
  5. Place the cabbage mixture on top of the Cornflakes.
  6. Add the remaining crumbs to the top of the casserole.
  7. Bake in a 350 degree oven for 30 minutes.
