Cabbage Casserole
This is a recipe that a friend from Pikeville, Tennesse gave to me when we were both members in the Sequatchie FCE club.
Ingredients:
- 2 cups crushed Cornflakes
- 1 stick margarine, melted
- 4 cups shredded cabbage
- 1 can cream of celery soup
- 1 cup milk
- 1/2 cup mayonnaise
- 1 cup grated cheddar cheese
- 1/4 cup dried onion flakes
Directions:
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
- Mix crushed Cornflakes and melted margarine and divide in half.BR>
- Mix cabbage, celery soup, milk, mayo, cheese and onion flakes together.
- Place 1/2 of the Cornflakes in the bottom of a baking dish.
- Place the cabbage mixture on top of the Cornflakes.
- Add the remaining crumbs to the top of the casserole.
- Bake in a 350 degree oven for 30 minutes.
