Would you like to prepare a simple dish for dinner tonight? If so, this is the recipe for you:
Hobo Packets
Ingredients:
- 1 square of heavy duty alum foil about 20 x 20
- 1 ground beef patty ( preferably the leaner the better)
- 1 onion slice
- 1 potato, peeled and sliced into 1/4" slices
- 1 carrot cut up or 3 to 4 baby carrots
- Sprinkle of garlic powder
- Splash Worcestershire sauce
Directions:
- Place the ingredients in the middle of the foil in the order listed to make a stack.
- Fold the foil over 1" and keep folding it down to make a tight seal on the top and then fold the edges in 1 inch at a time to make a watertight package.
- Bake in a preheated 350 degree oven for about 1 hour.
Total Cost to Prepare: Around $1.00 per pack
