Lasagna


Ingredients: Directions:
  1. Brown meat in heavy skillet.
  2. Add seasoned salt, garlic and pepper.
  3. Simmer for 10 minutes
  4. Stir in tomatoes, tomato sauce and spaghetti sauce mix.
  5. Cover and simmer for 30 minutes.
  6. Boil lasagne noodles in salted water until tender.
  7. Drain and rinse.
  8. Pour 1/3 of the meat sauce into a 12 x 8 x 2 baking dish.
  9. Cover with lasagne noodles.
  10. Arrange slices of mozzerella and cottage cheese over noodles.
  11. Repeat the layers, ending with the meat sauce.
  12. Sprinkle parmesan cheese over the top.
  13. Bake in a 350 degree oven for 20 minutes.
  14. Enjoy!
Notes: My grandmother first made this recipe when she moved to Chicago. It has been a family favorite for years.
